Take along a tape recorder and let your child listen carefully for birds, brooks, breezes, laughter, squeaky swings, crunchy
leaves.
Tape each sound, then listen to them at home. Sometimes this brings back memories even better than photo-graphs ( and it's a great way to occupy kids on any vacation).
